It's was in a flyer for continuing Adult and Community Education. Both photos are wrong.
First, the picture at the top shows a guy trying to rip a thick board
with a hacksaw.
Second, the bottom part show someone preparing to cut a
board on a table saw. Either he's on the wrong side of the saw, or the
blade is in backwards. When the saw is turned on the board will fly up
in the air and, hopefully, knock the guy out.
Third, even if he was on the front of the saw, he's got his
hands on either side of the board and when he cuts about 3/4 of the way
through, the board will bind in the saw.
So, if anyone's interested in
taking the class, let me know  |

And it looks like Larry Fine in the lower photo. Probably trying to make a violin.
