Rich Lanze just called and has tentatively scheduled a St. Alphonzo picnic and jam at Ellison Park for July 16, 2005. He originally had it planned for the 9th, but Brian has a gig.
I've got a bass amp and a small Crate practice guitar amp (which will probably be ok through a P.A.). Brian may be able to supply a P.A. What about drums? What's Mark Rossiter up to?... |

Just got the July 30 confirmation for the Pancake Breakfast. I emailed Time Bandits (band) guitarist/booker Steve and requested he block that date out for us. he got right back to me and said 'done,' so I'm straight.
As to a drummer, Joey (TB drummer and old pal of some) is now available too, so.... maybe HE can be invited.
So there-- lokkin' forward to it!!

gonna dig up my email list from last time (prolly needs updating) and i'll send something out to give all a heads up. in da meantime, tell anyone you think may be into it. we're getting this thing together enough ahead of time to hopefully get a good crowd of pals together.

Glad you're getting a drummer, Brian. Is he the drummer in your current band?
Sorry about the login problems, Tom. The way it should work is,
1. You register.
2. The system automatically emails a verification code to the email adress you entered.
3. You log in and enter the verification code.
The reason for the verification code is (a) it's supposed to keep the riff-raff out (if the person entered a fake email address, he may be up to no good), and (b) I can bulk email groups, which is good for things like notifying Blutos about the picnic.
Anyhow, it's unclear why you and Rich didn't get the verification code emailed. It worked for me and apparently for Brian. I'm going to adjust it now. Let me know if you have any problems. Rich L is on the phone. seeyalater |
